Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a lightweight double-stroller, the folded dimensions and weight are key factors to consider. When not in use, pick one that is easy to maneuver and small in size. This makes it easier to put it in your car trunk and navigate through airport gates and foreign roads.
The most lightweight strollers have a simple, easy fold that lets them stand up on their own. This eases the burden on the parent's body. A few also come with a broad selection of seating options and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The perfect product for families traveling. Lightweight and easy to carry in one hand compact fold. The front suspension and all-terrain wheels, as well as the multi-position reclining seats can be used for children up 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents with a large storage basket as well as three-tier canopy with peek-a-boo window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud scored one of the lowest scores in our tests of quality because it has a weak, hard plastic seat and a style that feels dated. It's also more expensive than other lightweight strollers, so it's not the best choice if you're looking for a budget alternative.
It's not the tiniest stroller, but it comes with enough features that it is worth considering. double pushchair make it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it can jump curbs with minimal effort, unlike many other lightweight strollers that veer off course when trying to accomplish the similar thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a problem, however; it's nearly at knee height, and not adjustable. It's not easy to push while your legs hang like that. And the absence of padding does not make it any easier.
In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and use. Close it is a little more difficult. You have to slide the slider before you press the large white button. This can be a hassle when you're trying to keep your children entertained while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a small but spacious storage basket. It can fit the size of a large diaper bag. The basket is a bit small and you might have to put something in it to reach the back. The Cloud comes with an adult tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. However, both are too small for larger cups or bottles.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design, which is perfect for traveling. It's super light at just 18lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) and folds flat for easy transport and storage. It also comes with independently reclined seats and large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors with peekaboo windows and extra-large under-seat storage bags. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. It also comes with an integrated parking brake with one step and is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also fantastic for navigating over bumps and uneven surfaces. The stroller does not accept car seats, so your little ones must be 6+ months old and have good neck control to be able to ride in the front seat. The stroller has an umbrella sun canopy with three panels and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.
Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is another incredibly lightweight stroller that can be used side by side. It's a bit heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's narrow and slim (26.5 inches wide!) and has a ton of luxe features that make it perfect for travel. It has a super simple fold, is very maneuverable and can be tucked away in airplane overhead compartments and trunks easily.
Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key distinctions. It's also slightly more expensive, but it offers more maneuverability and the largest sun canopy. It comes with a convenient strap for carrying and can be used by children weighing up to 44 pounds for each seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
If you're seeking a stroller which is lightweight but also loaded with features, look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just light at only 13 pounds but also has plenty of storage options, including cupholders for both parents and children as well as a sippy-cup pouch for children and a parent's storage pouch and so on. This stroller can also be used with a child's car seat and comes with a brake with a flip-flop feature that can be easily engaged. It's designed to adapt to your kids from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller by simply attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and up.
This stroller has only swivel-wheels and no locking feature, so it may not be the best choice for terrain that is steep or rocky. It's still a great option for most families, as it is able to be easily maneuvered on smooth surfaces as well as smooth surfaces.
This is one of the lightest and compact double strollers with full-size features. The quick-close feature allows the stroller to fold with just one hand, and it's small enough to store easily in your garage or trunk. It is also able to be used as a stroller for travel and is compatible with most car seats without the need for adapters.
Contrary to the majority of lightweight strollers, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ features two seats that can accommodate up to 50 pounds per seat (100 lbs total). The seats come with a recline in multiple positions, individual leg rests, and 3-panel canopies with flip-out sun visors and peekaboo windows.

The seats are padded for your baby's comfort and come with a five-point padded safety harness that adjusts to three height positions. Each seat comes with an infant cushion, which is ideal for newborns. The cup holders for parents and child, the cellphone holders and the big storage basket will be loved by parents. The stroller can also be equipped with the Yoyo+ Board, which transforms it into a tandem stroller.
Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 double stroller is a great choice for parents who want a light double stroller that can hold two kids. The sling-style seats are comfortable and they provide the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This lets kids sit together. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it has a fully reclined seat, which makes it a fantastic choice for napping. Its recline feature is easy to use, however it's not really flat. Taller children may have legs hanging out when in the reclined position. It also has a huge canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking out sun than other options in our review of the best double strollers.
The stroller is light enough to move through door frames which was a big issue for us with other strollers we tested. It folds easily and the handlebars are close to the ground for easy transportation. The only issue is the small storage space. When it is full of stuff for the kids, it feels cramped.
Joovy is a family-owned business, creates innovative, functional and high-quality baby products. Their line includes unique bottles in our best baby bottle review, interesting strollers like the Joovy Zoom X2 Double and a unique rain cover that is compatible with many popular strollers. The prices are reasonable and often come with fun designs that appeal to children.
In our tests in the lab we take into consideration a variety of factors to determine the user-friendliness of a double stroller. This includes how easy it is to fold and set up, how to adjust the safety harness, and how to open and close the brakes. We also carry and lift the folded walkers as if they were put into a trunk, and how to install and remove a baby car seat if needed. We also evaluated the durability and strength of each model, as well as whether it comes with a parent tray that can hold both children trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 earned the top rating for ease of use in our most recent update of the best double strollers guide, and one of the highest scores in our Strollers test program overall. Its user-friendly design features one-hand recline that is tilt-free and a canopy that can rotate forward to provide shade, a ventilation mesh you can see through when it's tilted. It also has individual child trays with built-in cup holders, zip-up parent pockets as well as a huge storage basket.
